We’re fully into the summer madness with a bunch of different events and activities happening around town this weekend!

Festival season is well and truly upon us friends! Ottawa is coming alive, now that summer is really getting going, and the city is going to be full of music, theatre, dancing, eating and playing all weekend. Whether you are celebrating the solstice, getting into a dragon boat, taking in a Fringe show (or three) or getting out that lawn chair for some live outdoor music, we’ve got your big weekend plans here. Pop anthems and personal reflections.

With special guest Mischa kicking off the evening, this promises to be an all-Ottawa lineup you won’t want to miss.

Together, they will treat audiences to a selection of songs from Doiron’s extensive catalogue, including tracks from her latest album, I Thought of You.

Whether you want to get out and enjoy nature or stay inside and keep warm there are plenty of things going on this weekend for you.

The smarch-like weather of late hasn’t been great for outdoor winter activities, but there’s plenty to do both indoors and out—just be sure to check conditions or official websites/social media accounts before checking out the outdoor events.

We had so many all-weekend items to list this week that you’d swear it was still peak summer. Ottawa—grab that fall wardrobe and hit the town!

The packed crowd was buzzing throughout the show, and were left cheering, in the hopes the message was received loud and clear by the band—don’t wait another decade before coming back to town.
