March has certainly been flying by, and this weekend is the calm between the storms of St. Patrick’s Day and Easter, so take a moment to breathe as spring officially begins. I don’t think any of us were expecting to see grass and open water so soon, so take advantage of the weather and enjoy some sunshine, or some sugar shacks perhaps?

Apt613 receives Community Impact Award at the Capital Music Awards!

Last night, at the fourth annual OMIC Capital Music Awards, Apartment613 was thrilled and honoured to receive the Community Impact Award on behalf of our volunteer contributors—in particular those who have written about, photographed, promoted and supported live music and local musicians in Ottawa-Gatineau.

The Ottawa Music Industry Coalition (OMIC) has just announced the nominees for the five public voting categories at the fourth Annual Capital Music Awards (CMAs). The winners of Video of the Year, Newcomer of the Year, Single of the Year, Live Music Venue of the Year, and Live Music Event of the Year are decided by fan vote—that’s you!
