Manu

Writer

Manu has evolved as a journalist in the franco-Ontarian scene since university. Her experience in social intervention with women as well as a pluridisciplinary artist has been influencing her journalistic writing throughout the years. Her first recognition was in 2018, when she won a contest with Liaison magazine for her text “MILF; aigre revendication de la beauté maternelle”. In 2022, she was selected first place in the “C’est quoi ton scoop” contest organised by ONFR+ for her opinion text “L’éducation sexuelle en Ontario : un problème non résolu”. Her approach to writing is poetic, human and confronting. She likes to push the limits of objectivity as she tends to place herself into her journalistic subjects.
