What better way to start 613 Day weekend than with an hour and a half of #ottmusic jams! From Cody Coyote to The Souljazz Orchestra and from King Kimbit to Flight Distance, this is an all-Ottawa playlist of artists who have played the House of PainT festival since its origins in 2003, either on the main stage or OG500 showcase; as well as more artists who represent the high calibre, diverse talent coming out of Ottawa.
Obviously a huge bummer, however no big surprise that House of PainT will not be holding a festival in 2020. “We plan to take this time to focus on strengthening our foundations and looking forward to future HoP festivals,” says a recent HoP newsletter.
“That said, we know that the creative force behind the House of PainT exists whether we host a festival under the bridge or not, so we’re not going to leave you hanging. We will be using the month of August 2020 to deliver House of PainT to you. It’s time for #HoPatHome.”
