There are competitions to be the next top fashion designer, chef, model, dance crew, pop star… so why not titillating tease? On Thursday, May 27 Rockalily Burlesque will hold an American Idol style competition for the next member of their troupe. Judges Miss Koston Kreme, Vixen Vega, Bambi Van Boom and Audrey Hipturn will give thumbs (or other body parts) up or down to a parade of aspiring burlesque artists, ultimately deciding who gets to continue on to the second round of the competition at the second annual No Pants Dance Party on June 26. A ‘teaser’ set from Rockalily and beats from DJ Lowpass will finish off the night.

The fun is taking place at Babylon Nightclub (317 Bank Street) from 9pm onwards. Suggested minimum donation is $4, with all proceeds going towards breast cancer research.
