This November, Ottawa will host an ambitious event that will bring together some of the best Canadian fashion, photography and food, all in the name of charity.
Fashion Cures à la Mode has teamed up with Ovarian Cancer Canada and fistfuls of local and national sponsors and participants in an effort to raise the profile of ovarian cancer. Running from November 4 to 7, this four-day fashion-fest features a myriad of events, including runway shows, silent auctions, photography exhibits, makeup, food and (naturally) shopping!
Featuring an excellent balance of strictly local as well as artists from across Canada, this is an excellent opportunity for Ottawa divas to brush manicured hands with photographers, makeup and hair experts from local salons, choicest food and cocktails and fashion all in the super chic accoutrements of the Arc Hotel.
Proceeds go to Ovarian Cancer Canada, which strikes over 2,500 women in Canada every year.
Early bird tickets are on sale right now – a four-day all-access pass runs you $107.69 before tax, while day and event-specific passes vary in price from $26 - $41.The early-bird rates are only available online until October 25. There are discounts for students available.
