Wild in the Streets on Go Skate Boarding Day

During the past few weeks Ottawa’s cyclists have been making their presence known with rallies, a biking fashion show, biking scavenger hunts and, most notoriously, the naked bike ride that took place last Saturday. This week it’s the skateboarders’ turn. On Sunday, June 21, also known as the international Go Skateboarding Day, Ottawa’s boarders will be gathering at noon outside Top of the World (158 Rideau) to take part in this year’s Wild in the Streets: skateboarding’s answer to Critical Mass, Reclaim the Streets and other similar events. The group will end up at the McNabb Skate park (distance of about 3 km).
