Dr. Goodall is in Ottawa on April 15, 2008 to talk about the critical need to protect Africa’s Great Apes and other wildlife species and her namesake institution’s conservation programmes, which “meld habitat conservation with efforts to improve the lives of African communities as well as her reasons for hope for the future of our planet.” The lecture will begin at 7pm followed by a book signing. A limited number of premium tickets are available for a private reception that will precede the lecture beginning at 5:30pm and which include the opportunity to attend both the reception, lecture and to meet Dr. Goodall in person.
Tickets are available on the Centrepointe Theatre website. Prices are a bit steep: $57.25 for regular seats and $162.25 for the Premium tickets. However I’m sure that many will find it worth the money to see the woman step out of the nature show and onto a live stage.

Nice post, I’d go for maybe $15 but that is too much for me! I do, however, appreciate the important work she does. I had the chance to meet Julia Lloyd, a primatologist in Uganda a couple of years ago and she has done work with the Jane Goodall Foundation. Both fantastic ladies!
Waaaay too expensive for someone I would love to see….
